City Love

Music for the world we need.

FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION:

Hold onto your books and hide your broccoli! Part musical joyride and part silly, sweet mystery story in honor of our 10th anniversary; 35 tracks like SZA with flavors of Jurassic Park + Agatha Christie + Giada De Laurentiis; this album is an early literacy tool and a social emotional learning treasure trove for families and teachers. We hope you enjoy Dinosaur Spaghetti!

"It's like City Love Mamma Mia'd itself." - Jenny Chen

A taste of the album:

In a nutshell: When all the books go missing, mother and son Gail and Landon find the hapless culprit and help him along on his way. The book mystery is solved, but when all the broccoli starts disappearing shortly thereafter, tensions rise, accusations fly and the city reckons with a new mysterious culprit.

About City Love:

We are City Love, a social justice music and education group from the city of brotherly & sisterly love. We are teachers and musicians who make music for the world we need and use our songs to spread love, hope, dialogue, justice and healing. We have shared assemblies, workshops, and performances at schools, colleges, and conferences throughout the country with tens of thousands of students, educators and people of all ages. We were 2018-19 Haverford College Friends in Residence and 2019 Equity in Action Grantees and won the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest Silver Award for our song, “Make It Beautiful”. off our first children's album, World of Love. Our animated music video, “Beautiful” from that album has been viewed over 12,000,000 times! We created a 10-episode children’s show in 2023 and recently released an epic album that is a musical explosion with a sweet mystery that weaves all the songs together - follow us on IG @muchcitylove to keep in touch!
